Our Impact

Ongoing Projects

INBIT is currently implementing large-scale national projects and participates in international projects that strengthen healthcare systems through digital transformation, centralized medical device management, and advanced data-driven tools. Ongoing activities include nationwide health technology registries, AI-supported data entry and vigilance systems, and international deployments of INBIT-developed platforms. These projects are delivered in close collaboration with public authorities, healthcare institutions, and international partners.

Collaborations – WHO

INBIT’s has a long-standing collaboration with the World Health Organization and its contribution to medical equipment management, assessment, and health technology policy support. In this page we highlight WHO-related studies, technical cooperation activities, and INBIT’s role as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Medical Equipment Management and Assessment.

National Initiatives

INBIT plays a central role in major national healthcare initiatives, including the development of a centralized national system for the management and vigilance of medical devices across public hospitals. These initiatives support nationwide coverage, standardized processes from procurement to decommissioning, and the creation of national registries and vigilance databases. INBIT’s work contributes to improved planning, cost control, safety monitoring, and policy implementation at national level.

European/EU Projects

INBIT actively participates in European and EU-funded projects that promote cooperation, innovation, and alignment with international standards in biomedical technology and clinical engineering. Through these projects, INBIT contributes expertise in medical device management, digital readiness, and health technology governance, while strengthening its international presence and collaboration with European networks and institutions.
