The initiative included a public consultation, an impact assessment and study that together would inform the drafting of a legislative proposal2.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The European Patients\u2019 Forum (EPF) raised awareness and promoted the EC-led initiative3 among their membership and larger patient community, highlighting the importance of ensuring the patients\u2019 voice is heard in a technical domain that has significant implications on quality of life and access to high quality healthcare.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This briefing document provides an overview on Health Technology Assessment at EU and national level and shows the perspectives of all interested parties, (stakeholders).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst HTA is considered a highly technical domain, it is important to understand the policy and political implications and how the interests of diverse stakeholders are affected.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[19],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-225302","hta_library","type-hta_library","status-publish","hentry","category-other"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hta_library\/225302","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hta_library"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/hta_library"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=225302"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=225302"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=225302"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
