At present, the Ontario government funds one cochlear implant for people\u00a0who have hearing loss in both ears.\u00a0This health technology assessment evaluates the potential benefits and harms of having\u00a0cochlear implants in both ears (bilateral cochlear implantation) as opposed to just one, and\u00a0whether this is good value for money.
