Use of LVAD improves&nbsp;the allocation of transplants alleviating the shortage of donors. The target population of the&nbsp;technology is represented by patients with end stage heart failure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Objectives: To assess the effect of using a LVAD in addition to guideline directed medical therapy&nbsp;(GDMT) (including Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillator CRT-P, implantable&nbsp;cardioverter-defibrillator ICD and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillator CRT-D) in adult&nbsp;patients with end stage heart failure who are not eligible or immediately eligible for cardiac&nbsp;transplant in stage D of the ABCD classification of the American College of Cardiology&nbsp;(ACC)\/American Heart Association (AHA), and class III\u2013IV of the New York Heart Association&nbsp;(NYHA) functional classification.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categories":[17],"tags":[62,77],"class_list":["post-225532","hta_library","type-hta_library","status-publish","hentry","category-full-reports","tag-heart-failure","tag-lvad"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hta_library\/225532","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/hta_library"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/hta_library"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=225532"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=225532"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.inbit.gr\/el\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=225532"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
